I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Me - Today I am recommending Fool Me Twice by Mandy Hubbard. There is a girl named Mack, mwhich is short for Mackenzie, and a boy named Landon. They work at the same camp. One summer they dated. Then, he cheated on her. The following summer he falls on his head and thinks it is still the previous summer and  that he is still dating her. She wants to keep it that way so she can make him fall in love with her and then, break his heart. However, she finds herself falling in love with him for real again. This was a really romantic book. It was suspenseful too. It had a real surprise ending. It was a very good book.
Mom - Today I am recommending All The Summer Girls by Meg Donahue. All The Summer Girls is the story of Kate, Vanessa, and Dani, best friends from childhood, everything changes after one summer by the Jersey Shore in Avalon when Kate's twin brother, Colin drowns. It takes another summer by the shore to work out all the repercussions of that event and uncover all the secrets and lies associated with it and move past them. This was a well-written book. The characters were very realistically  drawn in that each of them was likable at times and not very likable at others. The story moies along pretty quickly. All in all, it is a very entertaining read.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
