I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - Green Meadows Farm

We were given tickets to Green Meadows Farm free for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own based on our experience.
What: Green Meadows Farm

Where: Green Acres Drive at Middle Road
              Hazlet, NJ

Who: All ages
Our view: If you or your kids love animals, you will love Green Meadows Farm. The farm may not be as big as a large zoo like the Bronx Zoo. However, it is not a tiny little farm with just a few animals either. There are quite a few animals of many different species to see here. It is not one of those farms where you can only go and look at animals that are on the other side of fences either. At Green Meadows Farm, there is plenty of opportunity to interact with animals of all types. You can hold animals. You can pet animals. You can feed some animals. You can even milk a cow. In fact, there are not very many animals at the farm that you do not have the opportunity to get close to and interact with in some way. However, if you prefer to view animals from a distance and not to interact closely with them, you can do that here too. You only have to go inside the animal enclosures if you want to. The farm is great for all ages because there is no age limit  as to who can interact with the animals. Even  small children can pet and hold some of the animals. If you are interested in going to the farm, you better go quick or else you will have to wait a while. The farm is only open to visitors in the Spring and the Fall, and their seasons are very short. Their Spring season goes from May 1 until June 8.  Their fall season does not start until October 2 and  only goes until November 2. For more information go to http://greenmeadowsfarmnj.com/.
And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for more about Green Meadows Farm.
