I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Movies :Ferris Bueller's Day Off and The Peanuts Movie

Me- Today I am recommending Ferris Bueller's Day Off. It's about a high schooler who pretends he's really really sick so he can get out of going to school, and the adventures he, his girlfriend and his friend have on their day of playing hooky. This movie is really fun.  I liked the romance parts too. It has a really great parade scene which you won't want to miss. All in all, it's just really fun movie.
Mom - Today I am recommending The Peanuts movie. Even though this is the first new Peanuts movie in many years, it is like an old shoe that still fits comfortably. All the old characters that you knew and loved are here, and despite the obvious necessity of using different voice actors, they sound remarkably similar. Although I am sure there are one or two story choices that I am not sure, Charles Shulz himself would have made, for the most part, the movie seems very true to his vision of his characters and therefore, what the audience would expect of them. Even if you are not familiar with the Peanuts characters at all, although I can't imagine there is anyone who fits in that category except maybe very small children, the movie is entertaining and fun to watch and definitely worth seeing.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
