I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Books: Perfect Chemistry and The Best of Enemies

Me - Today I am recommending Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles, It is one of my favorite books. It is so romantic. It is one of the most romantic books I ever read. It is about Alex and Brittany, a couple from opposite sides of town. At first, they hate each other. Then, they fall in love and are determined to be together despite all obstacles. Even though it sounds like a cliche, it is a very unique take on this type of story. It is a really sweet story that you won't be able to put down.
Mom - Today I am recommending  The Best of Enemies by Jen Lancaster.  Sarabeth Chandler has two best friends, Jacqueline Jordan and Kitty Carricoe. The only problem is Jacqueline and Kitty can't stand each other. When Sarabeth's husband dies in a mysterious plane crash, Jacqueline and Kitty are forced to put aside their differences and join forces to get to the bottom of the mystery for their best friend's sake. This book was a  very entertaining read. The story was interesting and moved along quickly. The characters especially Jacqueline and Kitty were very well drawn.  It was easy to put yourself in each of their shoes and feel sympathy for both. The ending was a shocker, but very satisifying. I would highly recommend this great book.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
