I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Broadway Up Close Tour and Cagney

We were given a free Broadway Up Close Tour for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.
Me - Our Broadway Up Close Tour was fun. It was also very interesting especially if you like Broadway. It gave a lot of facts that I did not know before. I learned that there is one Broadway Theater that has an apartment on top where a man used to live. I learned a lot of other interesting facts too. I liked that our tour guide, Tim,  had pictures of everything he told us about on his tablet so we could actually see everything for ourselves. Another thing I learned is that the New Victory Theater once actually had a working farm on top of the theater. Also, I learned that rooftop garden theaters used to be popular. Our tour guide, Tim was really nice. He is the owner of the company. It was nice that since it was cold  the day of our tour he gave everybody hand warmers. The tour we went on was Act I. There is also an Act II and an Act III tour because it would be too long to take all the tours at once. I hope I get to go on the other Tours.

We were given free tickets to Cagney for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.
Me- I liked Cagney. It was a good show. I liked all the tap dancing. I take tap dancing lessons. I don't tap like that though. I wish I could. It made me want to watch the movie Yankee Doodle Dandy. At first, I was worried that I wasn't going to like the show since James Cagney mostly played gangsters. I thought it would be mostly about the kind of characters he played especially because he was shown holding a gun in the poster for the show. It wasn't like that at all. It was more about his whole life. It had a lot of funny parts. It had a lot of good songs too. I especially liked one where they kept saying I'm in L with you. The acting was good too. They all played a lot of different parts except the guy who played Cagney. They were so good at being really different in all the different parts. The guy who played Cagney was really good too. I don't know if he was like the real James Cagney because I never saw any of James Cagney's movies. I want too though at least the ones where he didn't play a gangster. I really enjoyed the show, and I would highly recommend it.
And that's Aurella's view. Tune in tomorrow for Funtivity Friday.
