I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Misc: Now That's What I Call Broadway

We were given a free digital copy of Now That's What  I Call Broadway for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.
Me - Today I am recommending Now That's What I Call Broadway. It is a really fun CD to listen to. It's fun because it's all songs from Broadway and they are all sung by the original casts. Some of my favorite songs on the CD are When I Grow Up from Matilda, Sherry from Jersey Boys, Mamma Mia from Mamma Mia, and Tomorrow from Annie. I really like most of the other ones too. There is only like one or two songs that I don't like that much. I really recommend this CD is especially if you like Broadway like my family.

Mom - Today I am also recommending Now That's What I Call Broadway. If you are already a Broadway fan, you will love this CD which contains some of the greatest songs from Broadway musicals ever, and they are all sung by the original cast members. If you are not that familiar with Broadway showtunes, this CD is a great introduction to them. The songs range from ballads like Memory from Cats and The Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera to rousing showstoppers like Sherry from Jersey Boys to One from A Chorus Line. The songs represent five decades of great Broadway music. The CD booklet and liner notes that accompany the CD not only tells you exactly who sings the songs and who composed them but a little bit about the shows they come from as well. If there is going to be a Now That's What They Call Broadway 2, I can't wait to see what songs they choose next. In the meantime, the current Now That's What I Call Broadway album will be available on April 29.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go-Wednesday.
