I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday: Bill's Garage at iPlay America and Willy Wonka

We were given free tickets to iPlay America for review purposes. Any and all opinions are our own based on our experience.
What: Bill's Garage at iPlay America

Where:  110 Schank Road
              Freehold, NJ

Who: All ages
Mom's view: With plenty of rides, food and games and a concert space featuring many of today's hottest entertainers, there was already plenty to do at iPlay America. However, now there is even more. They recently completed their three phase expansion with the opening of Bill's Garage. Bill's Garage includes the largest indoor rope course in New Jersey and the Freedom Rider Spinning Coaster. The rope course even includes a smaller lower to the ground section specifically for younger children ages 2 to 7. Bill's Garage also includes NBA Hoops Basketball,  more arcade games and more Skeeball. Unless, you are especially into video games, small roller coasters or rope courses, I wouldn't necessarily say that a visit to Bill's Garage alone is worth a trip to iPlay America. However, it is a great addition to the park and definitely worth visiting as part of any trip to iPlay America.

We were given free tickets to Willy Wonka for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own based on our experience.
What: Willy Wonka

Where: Kelsey Theatre
             1200 Old Trenton Road
             West Windsor, NJ

When: Friday July 8 8:00 PM
            Saturday July 9 8:00 PM
            Sunday July 10 2:00 PM
Mom's view: Yardley Player's production of Willy Wonka at the Kelsey Theatre brings the classic movie to life on the stage. Here you will find all the familiar songs and characters as well as a few additional songs. The additional songs are not really very memorable, however. For the most part the plot is the same as the movie with a few minor changes. While this version, of course, won't make you forget the original, it is entertaining. Steven Smith does a nice job the capturing the essence of the title character. The Oompa Loompa's are adorable. Other stand out performances including the hilarious Liz Wurtz and Hayden Clark as Mrs. Gloop and August Gloop and Alexa Hunt as the gum chewing obsessed Violet Beauregarde. The show does a nice job with the special effects moments including flying elevators, rapidly expanding waistlines and characters disappearing. All in all, it's an entertaining night of theatre for all ages.
And that's Mom's view. Tune in tomorrow for more about Bill's Garage and  Willy Wonka..
