I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Books: Frances the Badger books, Glop and Unblemished

We may have been given some of the books listed below for review purposes. This post also may contain affiliate links.  If you click on a link and make a purchase, we may be compensated. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

Me- Today I am recommending Frances books by Russell Hoban. They include Bedtime for Frances, Bread and Jam for Frances, A Bargain for Frances,  A Birthday for Frances and A Baby Sister for Frances. Frances is badger. She has a sister named Gloria. Gloria is actually born in one of the books. These are great books for little kids. I used to love them when I was little. They are really funny books. The stories and the characters are both great. Kids that like books books that are about animals that act like people and, kids that like books that make  you laugh will love these books.

Mom - Today I am recommending two books that have to do with things related to beauty.

The first book I am recommending today is Glop by Gabrielle Moss. Glop is a spoof of Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle web-site Goop. If you think Gwyneth Paltrow is pretenious, you will love this book. Here you will learn about such important matters as "Choosing the Right Shaman to Bring on Your Vacation", "Workout Wear for Maximum Impact and Minimal Moving", and "Finding a Couples Therapist Who Will Always Take Your Side." This is a very entertaining book. If you want a good laugh, you should definitely read it.
The second book I am recommending today is Unblemished by Sara Ella. Unblemished is a Young Adult Fantasy book. It is about Eliyana a girl who has a disfiguring birthmark that sets her apart. When she meets Josh, he makes her feel normal.  Then, at a party, she meets Ky and it definitely isn't love at first site or even like. When her mother suddenly disappears, she finds out that she is actually from another world and Josh and Ky are a part of that world too. Eliyana could be the savior of the that world or it could destroy her. This is a fast paced page turner that anyone who likes fantasy especially fantasy with a hint of romance will love.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
