I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Giveaway: Win a pair of tickets to see Pippin at State Theatre New Jersey in the It's Your Love Giveaway Hop!

Love is in the Air! What would make February even better? Being able to enter a bunch of amazing giveaways! Anderson's Angels, This Mamas Life, The More The Merrier and Woven by Words, are very excited to help create It’s Your Love! We've teamed up with other wonderful bloggers, to bring you another great giveaway event! Each blog has gathered a prize package for the It’s Your Love Giveaway Event!
If you and/or your sweetheart love theater and you live in the NJ/NY area, you'll definitely want to enter our giveaway. We are giving away a night at the theater or more specifically two pairs of tickets to the Broadway tour of Pippin at State Theatre New Jersey in New Brunswick, New Jersey on March 24, 2017 at 8:00 PM. Pippin is the story of the son of Charlemagne. His father wants him to take his rightful place in life, but Pippin just wants to find his own purpose. Believe me, it sounds a lot heavier than it really is. The whole show is very tongue-in-cheek, and it's literally one of the most fun and entertaining show we have ever seen. The show includes such well known songs as Corner of Sky, Magic to Do, and No Time at All. This version of the show which played on Broadway in 2013 and 2014 adds circus elements to the mix which makes the whole thing even more fun. For our reviews of the show when it played on Broadway go to Where-To-Go Wednesday: Pippin and Pippin. For more about the show and/or to see a montage  from the Broadway production of the show go to the show's web-site at http://www.pippinthemusical.com/, Just take note that the actor's in the clip are part of the original Broadway cast and  are not necessarily and in some cases are definitely not part of the touring cast. If you live in or near and/or can travel to the New Brunswick, New Jersey area on March 24, 2017, enter below to win tickets to this delightfully amusing production.

    1. We saw Chicago when Rumer Willis was in it, but American Idiot isn't playing anymore on Broadway.

  5. My daughter is obsessed with Cats. She watches the DVD all the time. When they announced their coming back, I was so excited! Just haven't had the extra finances to do it yet.

    1. Broadway shows are so expensive, aren't they? My daughter is obsessed with School of Rock. She and my husband saw it when on Broadway Week last year when tickets were two for one. My older daughter and I were lucky enough to see it during press previews. Thanks for visiting Says Me Says Mom and for your comment.
