I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Funtivity Friday - Connecting Words

Here is a fun word game we made up. It is similar to Scrabble except you use pen and paper instead of tiles and you don't keep score.

What You Need

A piece of paper
A pen or pencil or two

Directions

Each participant takes turns writing words on a grid. You can write any word you want but each word must connect to another word on the grid. Any letters you add to the grid must spell a word in every direction.

Variations of the Game

For varation pick a specific theme

Themes can be broad:

Examples: Anything related to Broadway (see above)

                  Anything related to Fall

Themes can be narrow:

Examples: Anything related to a specific Broadway show

                  Color words

What theme would you pick?

Enjoy!

Tune in Sunday for this week's Sunday Scoop.
