I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - New York Water Taxi

What: New York Water Taxi

Where: See web-site for tour options and starting locations www.nywatertaxi.com.

Who: All ages

Me & Mom - New York Water Taxi was fun. There are a couple of different tours or you can take an All Access Tour. If you choose the All Access Tour, you can get on and off as many times as you want for a full day. There are four different stops. Two of them are Downtown, one is in Midtown and one is in Brooklyn. The stops are not very far apart. The furthest one is Midtown.  The New York Water taxi is a good way to get around. It is also informative because while you ride they give you information about what you are seeing. Therefore, it is a combination of a fun way to get around and an interesting tour. The ride can be bumpy at times, but the seats are really comfortable. There are no seats belts. We were able to get really close to the Statue of Liberty while riding in the New York Water Taxi.  You can either sit inside on the boat or you can stand outside upstairs. Downstairs they have magazines. They also have little tables. They also have a bar where you can buy drinks. All in all, riding the New York Water Taxi is a really great experience that we would really recommend.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Theater Thursday.
